We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has a proven ability to teach pupils with C&I needs effectively through the use of dynamic & engaging techniques.
  • Has the ability to lead a provision and manage staff in an effective way towards outstanding practice
  • Is able to reflect and see solutions in daily teaching, in own practice and that of the team.
  • Can use their initiative to solve problems.
  • Can share ideas for the adjustment of learning to enable pupils to access the learning effectively.
  • To build effective trusting relationships with staff, pupils, parents and external agencies.

We are thrilled to be opening a specialist resource provision in April 2026 where children will be nurtured and educated in a way that matches their needs. Our resource provision will cater for up to 10 children whose main area of need is communication and interaction. The provision is situated within the school building and will be newly renovated this term. You will have responsibility for leading the provision, working alongside our excellent SENCO. You will be given PPA time and additional leadership time to fulfil your role. We are looking for a person who has the qualifications, skills and ambition for the children to enable them to accomplish their very best.

The role is suited to someone who is aspirational for children, has a positive outlook and a passion for helping children with additional needs to thrive. You will have the opportunity to work with school support staff who are committed and skilled in adapting learning so that all children can succeed.
