Specialist Teaching Assistant (Construction and Motor Vehicle Engineering) job summary
The Academy of Central Bedfordshire is one of the most successful Alternative Provision schools in the country and accommodates vulnerable young people from across Central Bedfordshire. This is a unique opportunity to work within a trauma informed environment where our dedicated staff team strives to provide meaningful education that enables our pupils to reach their individual potential.
Ideally, you will have experience of working with young people with additional needs in a trauma informed, attachment aware manner although all relevant skills and experience will be considered.
We are proud of the level of investment we place in the learning and development of our staff to ensure each of our team members has the excellent level of training they need to be effective in their role.
We are looking for a Specialist Teaching Assistant with the ability to support across our Construction and Motor Vehicle Engineering vocational areas, working 35 hours per week, 8.30 - 4.00, Term Time only. Experience of working in construction and motor vehicle areas, either from an industry perspective or educational establishment preferred but not essential.
