Full time: Working hours are 37 hours per week, typically 8.00am – 4.15pm, Monday –Thursday and 8.00am-3.40pm Friday. Term time 38 weeks plus 5 staff learning days; 39 weeks per annum.

Actual salary for the hours / weeks worked will be in the range £27,321 to £29,831 subject to any continuous service

What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support and develop the learning of students with Specific Educational Needs in Literacy, through the planning and delivery of individual, paired and small group work. Reporting to the SENCo/Associate SENCo this Specialist TA3 will support the learning of students with identified specific learning needs relating to literacy such as Dyslexia by working alongside subject staff to plan and support work within the classroom which meets the needs of individual learners with SEN.

The Successful candidate will link with all departments, external agencies, parents and students and work with initiative, enthusiasm, and work positively with some of our most vulnerable students.
