Treetops @ Bridgeview Special School (based at our Bridgeview East site, Wivern Road, Hull HU9 4HR)

Grade 4 - Specialist Teaching & Learning Support Assistant

32.5 hours per week term time only + 5 training days (195 days)

Actual starting salary will be £18,729 - £19,329 (£24,790 - £25,584 FTE)

Treetops at Bridgeview opened in September 2024. The primary area of need of our pupils is speech, language & communication. Our Treetops provision is growing, and we are therefore seeking to recruit 2 Specialist Teaching & Learning Support Assistants. Candidates must be adaptable, flexible, and resourceful. The role will be classroom based, working in small classes to support the academic, social and emotional development of our pupils and to maximise attainment and progress for all. Candidates will also support the intimate care needs of the pupils.

You will be highly organised, with the ability to:

  • Be able to build strong relationships with children
  • Motivate and develop the children in your care
  • Be passionate about seeing young people succeed
