Phoenix School is expanding its therapy team and is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Speech & Language Therapists to join our outstanding provision for autistic students aged 3-19. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our new service, working alongside the Phoenix Outreach Team to support Phoenix Specialist Classrooms in Tower Hamlets.

At Phoenix, we embrace neurodiversity-affirming therapy approaches and provide a nurturing and collaborative environment where therapists can thrive and develop. Our team is made up of highly experienced and knowledgeable professionals, offering excellent supervision and support.

The Role

As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will:

    • Work creatively and collaboratively, using our extensive resources and expert support
    • Manage your own caseload with supervision from senior therapists
    • Plan, deliver and train professional in running engaging and innovative therapeutic interventions
    • Embed communication and interaction opportunities across school environments and the specialist classrooms
    • Support students’ emotional regulation, resilience, and wellbeing
    • Train and upskill a range of education professionals in neuro-affirming communication strategies and best practices
    • Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to create meaningful outcomes
    • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community
