SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST job summary
Beacon Academy Trust are currently seeking to appoint a SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPIST who has a passion for making communication accessible to all learners.
It is a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to work with a range of pupils with varied communication profiles and to embed communication interventions in the daily pupil experience. This holistic therapeutic approach will ensure opportunities to help pupils develop the communication skills for a ‘safe, independent life’.
The successful candidate will work within Beacon Communication School, our Additionally Resourced Provisions across the Trust for students with Social Communication Difficulties including Autism as well as within the Beacon Business Innovation Hub (BBIH) our 13-19 free school situated on the Beal campus.

Enhanced DBS (with list checks) is required for this post.

Beal High School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status, located in Redbridge, Greater London, England.
The school begins at Year 7 and continues with compulsory schooling through Year 11. Years 12 and 13 form the optional sixth form. In 2014, a business hub and media block were added. The school also has a Communications and Learning Department (CLD Unit) for students on the autistic spectrum.
Beal High School is also the sponsor of The Forest Academy (formerly Hainault Forest High School),[2] and the Beacon Business Innovation Hub (BBIH). These schools, alongside the autistic provision form the Beacon Multi Academy Trust.
