  • Work closely with school SENCOs, teachers, and support staff to embed practical speech and language strategies across the wider curriculum.
  • Design and deliver high-quality training and practical workshops for school staff, parents, and carers.
  • Collaborate alongside existing NHS Speech and Language Therapy provisions to maximise support capacity across our primary and secondary academies.
  • Contribute to Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs), maintaining thorough records in accordance with HCPC and RCSLT standards.

  • What We Are Looking For

  • Qualifications: Recognised Degree in Speech and Language Therapy and active registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Experience: Proven experience working in inclusive educational settings with young people with SEND and complex learning or communication needs.
  • Skills: Strong collaborative skills, expertise in Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), ability to produce high-quality clinical reports, and a passion for empowering school staff.
  • Values: A clear commitment to co-operative principles, inclusion, equal opportunities, and public service.

  • Why Choose Co-op Academies Trust?

  • Values-Driven Culture: Guided by our Ways of Being Co-op (Do what matters most, Be yourself always, Show you care, Succeed together), we place ethics, equity, and community at the heart of everything we do.
  • Dedicated Supervision & Professional Growth: Access clinical supervision, peer support networks, and ongoing continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Competitive Employee Benefits: Local Government Pension Scheme, Co-op staff discounts, and access to a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits.
