What skills and experience we're looking for
Essential Skills:
- Relate theory to practice
- Effectively manage a personal caseload
- Initiative, problem solving skills
- Approach therapy with creativity and flexibility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Clear written and spoken English
- Good organizational skills
Essential Experience:
- Working with children / young people with receptive and/ or expressive language difficulties
- Working with children/ young people with SEN, particularly those on the Autism Spectrum.
- Differential diagnosis; formulation of therapy plans; providing appropriate intervention(s); evaluating outcomes
- Carrying out formal and informal assessments, observations
- Report Writing
- Using Autism specific strategies/ approaches
