About us and the role

Avanti Services Ltd is seeking an exceptional individual to join Avanti Court Primary School as a Spiritual Wellbeing Lead.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a passion for nurturing children’s emotional and spiritual development. The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and the wider school community to support pupils through guided reflection, wellbeing activities, and meaningful dialogue.

This role plays a vital part in deepening the spiritual ethos of the school and embedding the values of the Avanti Way across all aspects of school life.

What will you do?

  • Foster the holistic development of students and staff—emotionally, spiritually, and mentally—aligned with the school’s ethos and values.
  • Offer one-to-one emotional and spiritual wellbeing support, while facilitating reflective discussion groups for pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Collaborate with teaching, pastoral, and inclusion teams to enhance the school’s overall wellbeing and chaplaincy provision.
  • Plan and deliver assemblies, immersive workshops, and community outreach activities, while creating meaningful wellbeing resources.
  • Develop and evaluate the chaplaincy programme, supporting the induction of new members and contributing to a spiritually nurturing school culture.

Avanti Court Primary School is an Academy for children aged 3–11. The school is a three-form entry, mixed primary school with an attached nursery with over 600 children on roll.
