Sports Coach job summary

Innovate Multi Academy Trust has a vacancy available for a Sports Coach to work across our delightful village schools within our Sports Coaching Team. The trust is made up of Badby, Kilsby, Paulerspury, Rothersthorpe, Weedon and Woodford Halse Primary Schools in the beautiful countryside near Daventry. More schools may join the Trust over the next few years, giving even more opportunities for the right candidate.

We believe that it is experiences that will help shape children, making them more confident, outgoing and positive when facing the future. PE and Sport are a vital part of our Trust’s vision going forward and we are looking for someone to help us to bring that vision to life as part of our trust.

The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise working with children in primary schools delivering PE lessons and curricular sports clubs in a range of different sports and activities.

As travel between schools is a requirement of the role you will need to hold a full driving licence and have use of a vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed for travel from your nearest school to your home address.

There are plenty of opportunities for training and development and possible progression.

Hours/Salary

Working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm (start/finish times may vary) for 32.5hours/week for 39 weeks/year (term time plus training days) and will be paid on grade C-E point 2-5 which is currently £18,443 to £19,328 per annum actual, depending on experience.
