Sports Coach job summary
We are looking to appoint a Sport Coach to work at Beacon Academy from September 2026.
The main duties will be to plan and deliver high quality sport and physical activities to all children from Reception to Year 6 following the PE National Curriculum and deliver a range of extracurricular activities after school.
The role will involve encouraging students to interact and work co-operatively with others and engage in all activities, ensuring all pupils are included and understand the curriculum and class activities. You must be able to understand the individual needs of children and develop and inspire young people to become and stay involved in Sport.
Previous experience within a classroom or coaching environment is essential. Experience in 1:1 support and classroom management is essential.
