What skills and experience we're looking for
We have an exciting opportunity for a Sports Coach to support the teaching of Physical Education, Physical Activity and Sports Coaching across the Infants and Juniors at Penbridge School.
You will maintain the current effective relationships with clubs, schools and other agencies while also developing new ones. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for Physical Education who aims to inspire students to actively participate in sports.

- Support the teaching of Physical Education, Physical Activity and Sports Coaching within school
- Maintain and develop effective relationships with clubs, schools and other agencies to create school club pathways to gain access to facilities and to avoid duplication
- You will support the development of appropriate inter school competitions and challenges to engage all pupils
- Maintain appropriate assessment records, data collection and monitoring information

Formally known as Penhale Infant School and Newbridge Junior School, we officially joined together in September 2022 to form Penbridge Infants and Junior School.The infants site comprises of a nursery with 24 places for funded 2-4 year olds and a 2-form entry infant school with 180 children on the roll including 24 in our Rainbow Fish Inclusion Unit.The juniors site comprises of a 4-form entry school with 440 children on the roll.
