Sports Coach job summary

We are looking for somebody to join us who:

Will deliver high quality physical education lessons and sport provisions across the primary ages, within and beyond the curriculum.

To support the classroom teachers with their responsibility for the physical development and outdoor education process by providing care and supervision to children/young people, including those who have special physical, emotional and educational needs.

Promote a positive attitude towards physical activity, healthy lifestyle, and wellbeing, developing opportunities for all children to engage in a varied program of activities

Under the direction of the Headteacher, and in consultation with the subject lead, be responsible for planning, delivering, and monitoring a co-ordinated programme of activities.

Be trained or willing to undertake training for Forest School Practitioner and lead and support Forest School teaching and learning experiences

A good/outstanding practitioner.

Is an excellent communicator who believes in working as part of a team.

Has a commitment to ensuring every child deserves every opportunity to succeed.

Will support the Catholic ethos of our school.

Will enjoy making a difference to the lives of our children and families.
