What skills and experience we're looking for
Ideally, the successful candidate will have skills and experience in teaching or coaching sport, but this is not essential. The right attitude, the willingness to learn and develop, and a positive approach to all aspects of school life are more important!
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, flexible and friendly person to join a forward-thinking and happy team. We have grown as a school in recent years and this role is central in helping us to continue to thrive. Our children LOVE coming to school, and it is very important to us that whoever joins us can continue this approach to ensure the children have consistency. At Great Ouseburn, we want our children to look forward to every day. We aim to instil a pride in their learning and a love of school. If you think you can help foster that in our children, we would love to hear from you.
We want someone with ambition and drive to help us continue to develop our fantastic school. If you are able to build warm relationships with children, colleagues and staff and have exceptionally high expectations of every child, every day then we are looking forward to receiving your application.
What the school offers its staff
We are a small, friendly school with big ambitions and a close team who work hard to support each other at an exciting time for the school. We need a friendly team player, who is open to giving and receiving advice, making changes and adopting new approaches, irrespective of their experience.
