Sports & Physical Education Coach job summary

Are you passionate about sports and inspiring young people to lead active, healthy lifestyles? Do you have the drive to motivate students and create a fun, engaging, and inclusive sporting environment? If so, we want YOU to join our team as a Sports & Physical Education Coach!

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Planning and delivering exciting and progressive coaching sessions that promote participation in PE and school sport.

  • Organising inter-school and intra-school competitions to foster teamwork and a love for physical activity.

  • Acting as the school link to Northamptonshire Sport and other external sporting bodies.

  • Encouraging pupils to push their boundaries, stay active, and develop a lifelong passion for health and fitness.

  • Promoting inclusivity by identifying and overcoming barriers to participation.

  • Supporting extracurricular sporting activities and out-of-school events.

  • Monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and working with colleagues to enhance student engagement.

  • Assisting in school trips, lunchtime activities, and before/after school programs.
