SSP Sports Coach - NGB Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified job summary
We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coaches to work in Primary schools within the Castle Point and Rochford borough and t hese exciting positions offer you the opportunity to work with aspiring young sports people delivering specialist coaching in PE, lunch time, breakfast and after school clubs .
Applicants must have a passion for the subject with specialist experience in a specific sport and may already have experience in delivering PE within primary school settings.
The successful Sports Coach will have high expectations of behaviour and attainment and will have the ability to build positive relationships with others. In return we fully support our coaches and provide them with feedback, guidance and mentoring to ensure they are delivering the best lessons possible whilst enjoying their role.
These roles are due to start immediately and you will be employed on a casual contract, enjoying the benefits of flexible working. Our Sports Coaches work during term time plus there are also opportunities to take part in our popular Holiday Camps around the borough.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications, but you must hold at minimum a Level 2 NGB coaching qualification. A full clean driving licence is essential and you will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and all statutory training applicable to the role.
