Student and Family Welfare Officer (Non-teaching) job summary

Trinity Catholic School is a transformational school which has made rapid improvements in all areas. We have recently had a full Ofsted inspection which has highlighted the exceptional work of staff and students at Trinity. We have an innovative approach to pastoral care and use a multi-disciplinary approach with health care professionals to provide a comprehensive package of support.

This is an exciting time to join Trinity Catholic School and we are looking to strengthen our Pastoral team by appointing a Student and Family Welfare Officer who will work closely with our most vulnerable students and families leading on early help and delivering a range of interventions alongside our Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Ofsted highlighted that:

  • The school knows each pupil and their needs in precise detail.
  • Caring and respectful relationships between staff and pupils are valued by all
  • Support for pupils’ social, emotional and mental health needs is a particular strength
  • The support for pupils who struggle to attend school is exceptional.

  • Can work collaborative with staff to exceptional care and support for students.
