We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Student Manager to join our vibrant all-through school community and take a leading role in shaping the behaviour and wellbeing of our students.
As Student Manager, you will be at the heart of our behaviour strategy—working closely with staff, students, and families to promote a positive learning culture. You’ll lead on managing behaviour across the school day, support reintegration of students removed from lessons, and oversee ‘return’ programmes for those coming back after exclusions or extended absences. Your work will directly contribute to improving student outcomes and creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
You’ll be a key point of contact for parents and carers, delivering targeted group work, liaising with external agencies, and developing personalised support plans in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team. Safeguarding is a key element of the role (training will be provided), and you’ll be actively involved in school events.
We’re seeking someone who is calm under pressure, solution-focused, and an excellent communicator. You’ll build strong relationships across the school and be committed to our values and ethos. A basic understanding of the curriculum is helpful, but more importantly, we’re looking for someone eager to learn and grow in the role.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment. The successful applicant will be fully supported in their role, with access to ongoing professional development to ensure success and growth. We are committed to investing in the right candidate and helping them thrive as a valued member of our team.
If you’re ready to take on a rewarding challenge and help shape the future of our students, we’d love to hear from you.

Synergy Multi Academy Trust
Litcham School is an ‘all through’ school which is one of 15 schools within Synergy Multi Academy Trust. Other Synergy secondary schools are Reepham High School & College, Sheringham High School and Stalham High School. Synergy MAT grew significantly in September 2021 when the North Norfolk Academies Trust (NNAT) merged with Synergy. Synergy already enjoys effective and productive trust wide collaboration, which is particularly strong in its primary schools, and the merger has paved the way for the next stage of collaboration between secondary schools. We expect being part of this collaboration will offer excellent opportunities for professional development at all levels, but particularly at Senior Leadership level. This enhanced collaboration is now in its second year. To find out more about Synergy MAT, please visit its website www.synergymat.org.uk
Litcham School
Litcham School is an excellent school across both the Primary and the Secondary Phases. Outcomes have been strong for several years and our recently published Ofsted Graded inspection report judged the school to be Good in all areas. We firmly believe high quality Personal Development is the foundation of outstanding school–pupil rapport, pupils feeling a sense of belonging to and ownership of the school, positive school-community links and subsequent pupil progress.
