Student Services Administrator job summary

Due to the expansion of our Professional Support Staff Team, we are seeking to appoint a highly organised, proactive and professional Student Services Administrator to join our busy Student Services Team.

The successful candidate will play a key role as the first point of contact for students requiring assistance and support throughout the school day. You will provide a high-quality service to students, parents/carers and visitors, dealing with a wide range of enquiries sensitively, efficiently and professionally. Responsibilities will include supporting student welfare, administering first aid, managing lost property, coordinating student services processes, providing administrative support, and assisting colleagues across attendance, medical and reception functions.

We are looking for someone with excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills, together with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with complete confidentiality. You will be confident using IT systems, working accurately with data, prioritising competing demands, and building positive relationships with students, parents/carers and colleagues. Experience of working in an administrative environment is essential, and previous school-based experience would be advantageous.

As an approachable and supportive team player, you will be committed to promoting student wellbeing, safeguarding and the school's values, whilst contributing positively to a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

Benefits of working at FCC include:

  • Full support for your professional development and future training needs.
  • A commitment to recognise previous, continuous service where applicable.
  • A commitment to offer flexible working wherever we can, to support the work life balance of our employees.
  • A cycle to work scheme.
  • A 24/7 employee assistance programme.

If you have any questions, would like any further information, or would like to arrange an informal visit to the school, please contact our Admin Team, by emailing admin@fcc.faringdonlearningtrust.org
