What skills and experience we're looking for

The Ruth Gorse Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Student Services Assistant. This role is crucial to our work as an Academy. The successful applicant will be expected to assist in the smooth running of the Student Services office and be the first point of contact for students on a day-to-day basis.

The ideal applicant will be:

  • Computer literate and hold word processing skills
  • A strong communicator over all modes including telephone and email.
  • Able to work to work alone as well as part of a team.

The Ruth Gorse Academy moved into a new £23 million premises in September 2016, with exceptional sports facilities, science laboratories and a suite for pupils who have special educational needs.
