We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Student Support Champion to join our highly successful Special Needs team, to support the learning of intervention groups within our Mathematics Department. You will be supporting students with specific learning needs, advising on strategies, delivering intervention programmes, and drawing up support plans that will include strategies for academic, social and emotional difficulties.
Applicants must have good educational qualifications (5 A*-C GCSEs) and be confident and competent at mathematics. Other relevant experience to include knowledge of specific pupil learning needs and appropriate strategies of support. The successful applicant will have good listening and communication skills, and have the ability to work on their own initiative and within a team.
