What the school offers its staff

Blacon High School prides itself on being relentless in its desire to provide outstanding learning opportunities, and the successful candidate will join a well-established team. In September 2016 we moved into a new building; a further extension was completed in September 2021 due to the school being oversubscribed for the 4th year, enabling the school to grow from 600 to 750 students.

Blacon High School is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be sought for the successful candidate in accordance with Safeguarding Children and Safer Recruitment in Education legislation.
