What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an experienced Student Support Manager to work as part of a team to provide outstanding pastoral support to our students across years 7-13. You will work closely with a Director of Learning and be able to establish a rapport with students and foster positive relationships as well as be able to demonstrate a good understanding of safeguarding issues.

Along with enthusiasm you will need excellent interpersonal skills as you will work directly with students, parents/carers,staffand external agencies to best meet wellbeing, safeguarding and academic needs. In addition,you should be a strong administrator so that written communications and record keeping around student monitoring and support are accurate. You should be first aid trained or willing to train and you will also act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead for which training can be given.
