Are you looking for a fantastic new opportunity? Iceni Academy is looking for a Student Support Officer who strives to share their passion for education with our students and join our dedicated team to uphold the Academy’s vision and values.
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated and has a passion for supporting teaching and learning by establishing supportive relationships with students and, helping to raise their self-esteem and develop a positive attitude to learning within a secondary Academy. You will relish the opportunity to work with young people in a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and able to use their own initiative, to support students to ensure that they are making progress academically, socially and emotionally. Previous experience of working effectively in a learning / student care setting is essential. This role requires, a grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths and strong literacy and numeracy skills.
