Student Support Officer job summary

This will involve working with a range of pupils who need extra support in managing their behaviour, raising their self-esteem and becoming more focused on their future prospects. The role will include contributing to whole school approaches to managing student behaviour, as well as working with individuals to support their holistic development. We need someone who is willing to be both part of a team and be able to work independently, show initiative and someone who can build up a rapport with students, their parent/carers, external professionals and, of course, the staff in the school.
