Student Support Worker job summary
We are seeking to enlarge our hard working, caring and child centred pastoral support team. We are looking for people who are well organised, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, have strong administrative skills and who relishes the challenge of working with young people.
The role will involve working with students from all years and often with those young people who are most vulnerable and in need of support. This is a highly rewarding and, at times, challenging role.
This will include:
• supporting our Heads of School and Heads of Year with student well-being and behaviour
• supporting with safeguarding and wellbeing concerns
• helping run our inclusion room

As part of the pastoral team responsible for the welfare of our pupils you will liaise with tutors, teachers, parents and support agencies. Experience of working with young people, restorative justice and safeguarding procedures would be an advantage.
