What skills and experience we're looking for

Barton Junior School is seeking an experienced, motivated, and proactive Study Support Manager to join our passionate and dedicated staff team. At Barton Junior School, we pride ourselves on offering a happy, purposeful, and rewarding working environment where staff and pupils share warm, respectful relationships. We place a strong emphasis on professional development and staff wellbeing at all levels, ensuring every member of our team feels valued and supported.

This role is particularly focused on providing high quality academic and pastoral support for our Year 6 pupils, ensuring they are fully prepared, emotionally and academically, for the move to secondary school. As such, this position would suit an individual with proven experience working with pupils particularly from upper Key Stage 2, and who is confident in delivering targeted academic support, managing small groups, and responding effectively to the needs of pupils preparing for SATs and moving into secondary school.

This role is for 32.5 hours per week, working 8:30am -3:30pm Monday - Friday.
