Subject Lead for English Literature job summary

Are you an experienced, exceptional and committed teacher of English who is seeking to work within a supportive, dynamic and highly successful department? As a key member of the team, with leadership responsibilities for English Literature across both key stage 3 and 4, you will be expected to have experience in teaching across both key stages,including GCSE English Language and English Literature.

As leader of English Literature, you will be expected to work closely with our English department and Curriculum Area Leader to create, review and refine the literature curriculum. You will need to evaluate the most appropriate and effective pedagogy to foster a love and appreciation of literature in our pupils. We pride ourselves on being a highly innovative and successful department and are committed to delivering the syllabus through active learning.This is a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic teacher and leader to join our team.
