Standish Community High School is advertising for a highly effective, dynamic forward thinking Subject Leader for Health & Social Care.

The successful candidate must:

• Be accountable for leading, managing and developing the subject / curriculum area.
• Be able to lead the development of appropriate syllabuses, resources, schemes of work, marking policies, assessment and teaching and learning strategies in the department.
• Take part and complete all standardisation exercises as prescribed by the exam board.
• Demonstrate a passion for the subject and the ability to engage students with a variety of teaching strategies.
