What skills and experience we're looking for

Are you ambitious and passionate teacher of history? Are you ready to lead a talented history team, with courses that are very popular at both Key Stage 4 and 5? Are you able to embed a culture of excellence, high-expectations, and a love of learning? Are you able to motivate and inspire a team to deliver the very best history curriculum?

We seek to appoint a motivated Subject Leader for History to join our successful department. You will be a natural leader, capable of leading others to achieve exceptional results. You will have proven yourself as a talented teacher and are able to lead others to develop the subject into a flagship centre of excellence.

The ideal candidate for this role will be able to enact and share their vision for history, possessing excellent teaching skills and an in-depth knowledge of the history curriculum, demonstrating the values of the 5 Dimensions Trust. You will have the confidence and communication skills to develop relationships with employers, embed work-related learning and create inspirational learning experiences.
