We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and dedicated leader of the Modern Foreign Languages department, which is part of the recently formed and highly skilled Linguistics Faculty. The successful candidate will be based at the secondary site and must be able to teach French and/or Spanish to Key Stage 3 and 4. He or she will demonstrate a passion for languages that enriches the delivery of the curriculum delivery and accelerates achievement. The MFL department is unapologetically ambitious for all pupils; our expert team embraces an evolving pedagogy based on the most up-to-date research.

The successful candidate will lead the subject area to ensure consistently high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning, securing and maintaining the best possible outcomes for all pupils. He or she will be an individual who is enthusiastic, demonstrates excellent subject

As a reflective practitioner, he or she will have a deep understanding of the curriculum and examination specifications and will be able to demonstrate the creativity, flexibility, and resilience needed to offer outstanding opportunities for our pupils – something Ribblesdale School provides in abundance!
