This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic colleague to join the Middle Leadership Team at The Oxford Academy, a school on a rapid improvement journey where you will be able to make a significant difference to the lives of the children we serve. It is an exciting time to be joining the school and its team of expert and welcoming staff, enabling the successful candidate to be part of something special.
We are currently looking to appoint an experienced and ambitious teacher who will take the lead, supported by the Deputy Headteacher for Quality of Education and the wider Middle Leadership team, in making a profound and positive improvement in the outcomes of the young people at The Oxford Academy. We are seeking a music specialist for this role, because of our current staffing needs, but would expect this leader to lead drama and deliver some drama lessons, particularly in KS3.
As an experienced teacher, you will need to have a proven track record of leading others and inspiring students, leading to improved standards and outcomes in Drama & Music at Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. You will also help develop an exciting curriculum and have the resolve to make a real difference to the lives of our young people. You will build a culture where music and drama are celebrated in the school.
