We are seeking a highly motivated professional with a genuine passion for Design & Technology, the ability to teach confidently across specialisms, and the vision to lead a thriving subject area.
About the Role
The successful candidate will:

• Teach across a range of D&T disciplines with creativity, confidence and adaptability
• Contribute to extra curricular opportunities that enrich students’ learning

A specialism in Food would be highly desirable, and the ability to deliver high quality Food Preparation & Nutrition lessons will be considered a strong advantage.
We currently deliver Product Design and Food Preparation & Nutrition across KS3, 4 and 5. Year 7 and 8 students follow a carousel system and complete two projects during the year, so you may also be involved in teaching other areas of D&T. Our exam boards are AQA GCSE Product Design, AQA Food Preparation and Nutrition and AQA A Level Product Design WJEC AAQ in Food Science and Nutrition. The ability to teach up to A Level/Key Stage 5 is essential.
