Our distinctive ethos of ‘Human Scale Education’ sets us apart from other schools. Within our distinctive ethos we provide your child with opportunities, interventions and watch them thrive. We will continue to build upon solid foundations as an academy rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED. Regional champions in sports, poetry, photography and performing arts are just some examples of how your child will develop those crucial ‘soft skills’ needed to flourish in an ever changing world.
We have outstanding facilities in engineering. As a pioneering member of WISE, we champion girl’s opportunity and achievement within the STEM subjects. All students study engineering from year 7 and immediately develop skills such as problem solving, creative thinking, teamwork and collaboration whilst learning mathematical and scientific concepts.
Parents are choosing Beacon Academy with the knowledge that not only is their child known as an individual and supported but academic progress is also at the heart of our provision.
