Swimming Instructor job summary
Swimming Instructor -Belfairs Academy
Required as soon as possible.
- Hourly Rate: £17.50 per hour + Holiday Pay (Actual: £19.61 per hour)
- Hours: Casual, as required, for up to three days per week + swimming club. Days and hours will be agreed according to the Academy’s needs on a termly basis.
Belfairs Academy is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Swimming Instructor to join our team. This role involves delivering high-quality swimming instruction at Belfairs Academy, with sessions also supporting Darlinghurst Academy.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons to both primary and secondary students 3 days a week
- Deliver swimming club once a week
- Support pupils in developing confidence, competence and essential water-safety skills
- Monitor pupils’ progress and provide appropriate encouragement, feedback and support
- Maintain high standards of safety and safeguarding at all times
- Work collaboratively with Academy staff to provide a positive and supportive learning environment.
