Swimming Teacher job summary

Swimming Teacher (Fixed Term: 14th April- 22nd July
18 hours per week | Tuesday-Friday | 9.00am-3.00pm

We are excited to advertise for a Swimming Teacher to work across our school, delivering high-quality swimming provision to children from Reception to Year 4 in our highly invested in outdoor swimming pool.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a warm, welcoming school community where children are delightful, well behaved, enthusiastic, and keen to learn. Lessons are taught in small groups of 10, allowing you to build strong relationships with pupils and focus on high-quality instruction. Many of our children are already confident swimmers, and you will play a key role in further developing their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of swimming.

Our swimming pool is a highly valued asset to the school and a real source of pride and is a central part of our curriculum offer. You will be joining a school that genuinely invests in swimming and values excellent provision.

As part of the role, the successful candidate will also deliver an after-school swimming club for one hour, built into the contract, providing an opportunity to further inspire children and extend their learning beyond the school day.
