Swimming teacher job summary

We are looking for someone to deliver small group swimming lessons to children in Year 3 and to year 4.

Working hours will be 9-2 with an hour for lunch, two days a week running from 18th September to 24th October 2025

To work with all level of swimmers

To coach in an exciting way so as to nurture a love of swimming for everyone who uses the pool

To build good working relationships with staff members and parent volunteers

To contribute to maintaining a culture of effective safeguarding

Who we are looking for:

Swimming teacher qualification - level 2 or higher

A team player

A desire to coach children

The ability to use a range of techniques to maximise pupil progress across a range of abilities

A sense of fun

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
