Ready to shape the digital future of education?
We are embarking on an incredibly exciting chapter. Two established Multi-Academy Trusts are merging, creating a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation. With this growth comes a brilliant tech challenge-and that’s where you come in.
While one half of our newly expanded Trust has already successfully transitioned to Bromcom as our core Management Information System (MIS), the other half is waiting for this next step. Your immediate priority will be to lead in embedding Bromcom across the remaining 11 schools, setting the digital foundation for thousands of students and staff.
What You’ll Do
As our new Systems Analyst, you won’t just be maintaining systems - you will be the architect of our digital evolution, bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and everyday school operations.
- The Bromcom Rollout: Act as a key project champion, onboarding new schools, gathering requirements, cleansing data, and providing the go-live support and training staff need to thrive.
- Build the 'Single Source of Truth': Design and maintain fundamental semantic data models within Power BI. You’ll build the robust technical groundwork that allows our Data Officers to produce game-changing, Trust-wide insights.
- Streamline & Consolidate: Work alongside our Data & Information Manager to audit our entire software landscape. You’ll bust data silos, eliminate unnecessary tech complexity, and ensure our systems communicate flawlessly.
- System Governance: Take true ownership of maintenance and user access governance, keeping our core software suite secure, compliant, up-to-date, and perfectly aligned with our long-term digital strategy.
- Be the Translator: Act as a trusted bridge between central IT and school teams, translating complex technical concepts into practical, everyday language.
About You
You are a tech-savvy problem solver with excellent people skills, who is just as passionate about collaborating with people as you are about working with data. You enjoy analysing how organisations operate and finding the clever digital solutions that make everyone’s day-to-day life easier.
You’ll have:
- Experience working with complex systems, ideally with exposure to MIS platforms (like Bromcom) and database structures.
- A strong technical grip on Power BI and semantic data modelling.
- Exceptional communication skills—you can easily explain data architecture to a tech novice.
- A project-oriented mindset, comfortable navigating change and supporting teams through transitions.
- A commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people.
Why Join Us?
This isn't just a maintenance role; it's a build and scale opportunity. You will have a direct hand in shaping the digital infrastructure of a newly expanded Trust, working with a collaborative central team that values innovation, clarity, and efficiency.
We can offer you:
- A supportive trust and school community
- Strong collaboration across the trust family of schools and access to a centralised team of specialists across all areas of school operations
- A commitment to high‑quality CPD, with dedicated time and budget for your development
- A values‑driven ethos where diversity, equity and inclusion are lived every day
- Recognition of continuous service (modification order) to protect employment rights and entitlements
- Local Authority Pension Scheme with generous employer contributions and death‑in‑service cover
- Occupational sick pay to support you during illness or unexpected emergencies
- Family‑friendly leave packages to help maintain a healthy work–life balance
