What skills and experience we're looking for
This is an exciting opportunity to join our wonderful nursery school to run our outdoor provision and oversee our new Forest School area.
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant Level 3 with experience of delivering outdoor education and working with Nursery aged children. We would like the successful candidate to plan and oversee the Forest School and our outside provision.
You will be joining an open, forward-thinking and hard-working team in which your ideas will be welcomed and you will get to work with passionate, knowledgeable individuals. Safeguarding is of vital importance to us and we expect all our staff to follow rigid safeguarding procedures and take part fully in all safeguarding training and updates.
Essential Qualifications
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- GCSE English & Maths at Grade C or above
- Paediatric First Aid (or willing to work towards)
Desirable Qualifications
- Forest School Training / Experience of leading a forest school programme
Essential Experience
- Experience of working in a classroom
- Experience of supporting children with challenging behaviour
- Experience of working with children aged 2-4 years of age
