What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors and staff of our large church school are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified class teacher to work as part of our dynamic, forward thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of job share arrangement for 2 days (Thursday and Friday) in either our EYFS or KS1 classes. We also welcome applicants who are interested in a Phase Leadership opportunity which would attract a TLR


The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of teaching within the primary age range, in particular EYFS/KS1.

• Have a clear understanding of the curriculum and assessment for learning

• Have high expectations for our children’s progress and overall achievement

• Take an imaginative and creative approach to curriculum planning that captures the children’s interest

• Be forward thinking, innovative and highly energetic

• Have a passion for quality teaching and learning, enabling the best outcomes for our children

• Be able to work well as part of our whole school team and school community

• Support our Christian ethos as a church school

Red Hill CE Primary School is a large 2 form entry Church school in the centre of Worcester. We have close links with our local church; St Martins as well as being an active part of the City Schools Network. We currently have a "Good" Ofsted rating from 2023 and a successful SIAMS inspection dated March 2024.
We are fortunate to have a large school site which includes the addition of our Forest School facility which all children access throughout the year as part of their curriculum offer.
