Teacher M1-M6

Permanent Full Time from September 2026

Do you want to work with delightful children?

Are you passionate about teaching and learning?

If so, we would love you to join our wonderful school.

At Ashbrook, we are a place for all: everyone belongs, everyone is valued, and everyone achieves. Our six core values—Respect, Responsibility, Creativity, Kindness, Aspiration and Equality—are the golden threads that run through everything we do.

We are proud to be part of Transform Trust, a collaborative family of schools where we share best practice, ideas, and workload, and embrace innovation. Staff benefit from high-quality CPD at all levels, including leadership development and coaching. Following our June 2023 inspection, the school continues to be rated “Good” in all areas.

This is an exciting time to join us. A new leadership structure will be in place, with an Executive Headteacher from June 2025 and a Head of School from September 2025.

We are seeking an excellent teacher to join our Key Stage 2 team. The successful candidate will work closely with a supportive mix of experienced and early-career teachers, alongside skilled teaching assistants.

We are proud of our Ashbrook Curriculum, designed to empower learners for the future by building knowledge, skills, and an understanding of how to stay safe. We aim for all pupils to leave us as independent, knowledgeable, and responsible global citizens. Our strong personal development offer ensures that pupil voice is central—our student leaders are proactive, reflective, and committed to improving the school.

We also offer:

  • Specialist sports coaching alongside teachers in PE
  • Access to artists and creative opportunities
  • 1:1 iPads for pupils to enhance learning and reduce teacher workload

What are we looking for?

  • A passionate and driven teacher who role-models excellence in teaching and learning
  • Someone committed to engaging with CPD to continually develop their practice
  • An adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and responds effectively to pupils’ needs

What can we offer?

  • A supportive and collaborative team
  • A comprehensive, bespoke CPD programme underpinned by coaching
  • Opportunities to collaborate across the Trust and share best practice
  • 1:1 iPads to support teaching, learning, and workload

If you feel this role is right for you, we would be delighted to hear from you.

School visits are essential and have been arranged for:

  • Tuesday 5th May at 9:30 AM
  • Tuesday 12th May at 4:00pm

Please contact the school office to arrange a visit, request further information, or obtain an application pack. If you would like to discuss the role, leave your details and we will be in touch.

Closing date for applications: 14th May at 12:00 noon
