Bitterne CE Primary is an inclusive school. We pride ourselves on having a strong Christian ethos through our values of Love, Trust and Forgiveness that guide and support us in all that we do for our children, families and community. The appointed candidate will:

- Create a positive learning environment where children thrive and feel safe and secure.

- Have a passion for learning that will inspire and motivate children to be independent thinkers.

- Promote exceptionally high standards in children’s achievements and behaviours.

- Plan and deliver well-structured learning experiences based on assessment for learning.

- Be fully inclusive of all children, adapting teaching and learning to meet their needs.

- Be a great team player who has positive relationships with colleagues, children and parents.

- Possess and demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.

- Have secure knowledge of safeguarding.
