The governors of Brereton CE Primary School wish to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic class teacher to join our team.

Following the retirement of a member of staff, we are looking for an excellent practitioner who goes above and beyond and is committed to ensuring every child does their very best. This is a very friendly and happy school with a caring Christian ethos in which all members of the school community are highly valued and nurtured as individuals. There are strong, supportive links between staff, governors, parents and the community. As a member of the Chester Diocesan Academy Trust (CDAT) we work closely with other church schools. The successful candidate must actively support our Christian vision and values.

The post is full-time and initially fixed term for one year, dependent on pupil numbers. The post will commence in September.

Brereton is a thriving school of two hundred pupils, just outside Holmes Chapel, in the beautiful village of Brereton. It is served by St Oswald's Church. Brereton joining the Chester Diocesan Academies Trust family in March 2018 as a converter academy. By the end of Key Stage 2, pupils at the school typically achieve levels of attainment that are at, or just above, the national average level. The school's last SIAMS inspection gave the school and 'excellent' grading. The school is very popular in the local area, and is full or oversubscribed in many year groups.
