About Brereton CofE Primary School
Brereton is a thriving school of two hundred pupils, just outside Holmes Chapel, in the beautiful village of Brereton. It is served by St Oswald's Church. Brereton joined the Chester Diocesan Academies Trust family in March 2018 as a converter academy. By the end of Key Stage 2, pupils at the school typically achieve levels of attainment that are at, or just above, the national average level. The school's last SIAMS inspection gave the school an 'excellent' grading. The school is very popular in the local area, and is full or oversubscribed in many year groups.
