The Link Academy Trust are seeking an experienced teacher to develop the Communication and Interaction Resource Base (CAIRB) at Littleham C of E Primary School and deliver a high-quality education for up to 12 children. We seek a passionate, inspirational individual who celebrates neurodiversity and can utilise evidence-based Autism practice through developing relationships, attachment and communication skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside Trust and school to build on the vision and foundations of this DfE and Devon County Council approved resource base.

CAIRBs are part of the mainstream specialist provision in schools across Devon and at Littleham the CAIRB sits at the heart of the school. They specifically cater for pupils with autism or other communication and interaction needs who require a higher level of support than can typically be provided in a mainstream classroom, but who can access and make progress within the school setting and be able to access mainstream provision whenever possible.

Littleham C of E Primary Schoolis a proud Church of England school and part of the Link Academy Trust. Their foundation is built upon the pillars of aspiration, belonging, and compassion, embracing a community spirit that thrives on Christian values. With expansive outdoor spaces, we encourage exploration, creativity, and a deep connection to the natural world. Littleham understands the importance of addressing each child's unique needs, ensuring that every student feels empowered to succeed.

The Trust shared vision, ‘Flourishing schools for all at the heart of our communities’, is integral to everything we do, underpinned by our core values of belonging, curiosity and collaboration.
