KS2 Teacher (Maternity Cover) job summary
Westcliff Primary school is seeking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic full time Year 6 class teacher to cover maternity leave initially for 1 term. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils within a supportive and collaborative school environment.
The successful candidate will:
- Teach a KS2, year 6 class, ensuring high-quality learning experiences across all areas of the curriculum.
- Plan deliver and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence and respect.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupils’ progress and well-being
