Teacher job summary

The Role: We are seeking to appoint an excellent class teacher in either our Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 teams depending on the applicants. We are looking for candidates who have the skills and understanding to accelerate the progress and raise the achievement of all our children. Successful candidates will be excellent classroom practitioners who have a strong moral compass, high levels of emotional intelligence and a desire to continually improve their practice. The Person: The successful candidate will have the following qualities and experience: • Relevant Key Stage Teaching experience • Excellent pedagogical understanding of how to progress learning • For KS1, good phonics knowledge and understanding of early literacy skills • Experience of leading a subject; Humanities, History, Geography or PE • Well-organised, reliable, enthusiastic individual who will review, monitor and evaluate School performance
