Teacher EYFS (Maternity cover) job summary
Due to maternity leave an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teacher with thorough knowledge of the updated EYFS Framework to join our EYFS/KS1 team until next summer.
We are seeking an applicant who has experience of supporting the progress of young learners and has an understanding of Letters and Sounds and high quality phonics teaching. The successful applicant must have outstanding competence in interaction with learners and how to model desired vocabulary and sentence structure.
You will hold a deep rooted belief that all behaviour is communication and have a clear commitment to identifying where early intervention may be required.
You will be a professional (emerging, developing or secure in your teaching experience), with the honesty and integrity at the centre of everything you do. With strong subject knowledge, you will be child-centred with high aspirations for the students you teach and high expectations of yourself and others you work with. Hard working, with a can-do attitude and a learning mind-set – you will be an ideal candidate for this most rewarding role!
Previous experience in an SEN setting is not essential.
