Further information about the job
We have recently opened an Autistic Spectrum Condition unit at Germander Park School, part of the Boulevard Primary Partnership federation (along with Southwood and Downs Barn Schools). The unit currently has one class but will grow next year to two classes (each with 8 pupils). All children hold EHCPs.
We are in search of a teacher who is motivated by the challenge of supporting pupils with ASC, who can inspire our pupils and help them to enjoy their time at school and their learning. Each teacher will lead a small team of support staff in each class of 8 pupils. This is an exciting time for the school with this newly created provision and as such provides wonderful opportunities for a teacher to be involved in the infancy and development of the classes.
Commitment to safeguarding
Safeguarding is paramount to everything we do at Germander Park School. We have a skilled support team in our schools who work hard to ensure our children stay safe.
The school reserves the right to close the application process at any stage, should we receive sufficient applications, and interviews will be held sooner. Our schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; the successful applicant will require an enhanced DBS check with further vetting checks including online searches and references taken.
The Boulevard Primary Partnership is an equal opportunities employer.
