What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, motivated and inspirational teacher with a real passion for teaching Economics at A Level to join our supportive and high achieving Digital & Commerce Faculty. The Faculty comprises Business, Computing, Economics, Film and Media. We are looking for a specialist Economics teacher who can teach other discipline(s).

The successful candidate will:

  • be able to form positive and trusting relationships with students based on consistency, firm boundaries and making learning exciting and challenging
  • have a professional attitude that is open to innovative ways of working
  • be committed to working in partnership with the Economics team and a range of other staff
  • be flexible and adaptable when faced with challenges
  • support the Head of Department in leading the team to secure outstanding progress and outcomes for students.
